Every special occasion deserves a special floral piece. Todays Birthday girl will be receiving an arrangement with the gorgeous helleborus orientalis & white spray roses.
It’s not just the blooms, also the vase needs to get its own uniqueness.
I hope she loves it. I loved designing it!

This is stunning! Tell me, did you decorate the vase first, and then do the arrangement, or vice versa? What a lucky birthday girl she is.
Thank you!!!
The Vase had to get done first. With all the little details I needed to lay down the vase.
That makes sense. Any special tips for how you created the design itself? THANKS!!
What you definitely need is a hot glue gun. And since the typha leaves don’t really stick to glass that well, I tight a few strings around the vase first and then glued the leave onto the string. The rest was just hot glued into the little crack by the leave.
Cool! As far as the flowers IN the vase – (last question, I promise!) do you have any tips for how they stay where they are placed? Thanks for answering my questions, your work is very inspiring to me.
Ask away!!!
You could tape up the vase, clear tape is better, make sure as you are designing that the flowers go over the edges so the tape won’t be seen. I did it without the tape. There are plenty of flowers in the vase that the stems are in a criss cross style and hold each other. Once you have a few stems in the vase, you will see that you can easily shift the flowers to the position you like.
Should you design a piece please share it!!!
And really ask away!!! Thanks for following my blog and its wonderful to hear that my designs inspire you!!!!
